GM to operate largest autonomous fleet
General Motors will soon be deploying 300 electric Chevrolet Bolts, Spectrum reported last Friday. It this is the case, the US carmaker jumps ahead of Waymo, which currently operates 80 driverless vehicles. GM’s current autonomous fleet comprises of 50 vehicles, which can be spotted on roads in San Francisco, Scottsdale and Detroit. The company is focussing on developing the technology through a ride-hailing service.
