Joseph I. LaRosa, CPA, MBA is Director, Global Fleet Administration with Merck, Sharp and Dohme. He has been working in fleet management since 1995, starting with Bristol-Myers Squibb. He evolved this position into Global Fleet Management in 2001 and later moved on to join MSD in October 2008 to start the global fleet COE (center of excellence).
In his current role as Director of Global Fleet Administration, Joe manages 29,000 cars worldwide in over 100 countries with 12 team members strategically placed in EMEA, North and Latin America and Asia-Pacific. He is therefore responsible for a fleet spend of approximately $400 million.

Joe LaRosa was rewarded for his professionalism when he was crowned Automotive Fleet's 2008 ‘Fleet Manager of the Year’, an award voted for by peers in the industry. Much recognised in the United States, he is currently on NAFA's Board of Trustees as NAFA's first International Vice President and serves on the General Motors International Sounding Board.
